Law officers dug up what they call a major illegal toxic waste dump in the town of Patton Village in Montgomery County. Officers found empty hydraulic fluid barrels and piles of trash on the ground. They dug seven feet down and found pools of some fluid that smells liked petroleum products. Authorities took water and soil samples for testing.

The case was referred to the Montgomery County District Attorney's office, and the landowner may face criminal dumping charges.
