Crews work to restore power to school

HOUSTON A blown transformer knocked out power to Westside High School on Briar Forest Tuesday night.

Crews managed to get generators to help light up the campus. But there wasn't enough power to light it all, so some students had to be moved to different areas of the high school. The principal has notified parents.

Generators are still being used to provide power. The school plans to keep its regular classes as scheduled.
