The Computer Works store is located at 12230 Westheimer. Reconnect is available to any consumer in the greater Houston area. Used computer systems and software of any brand can be dropped off at any 16 Goodwill retail store or 32 donation centers in the greater Houston area for responsible recycling.

Reconnect combines the computer recycling expertise of Dell and the infrastructure, community focus and job creation expertise of Goodwill. The program goals for the Houston area are to divert 1.5 million pounds of used computers and computer equipment from area landfills; and provide consumer education on the importance of environmentally-responsible computer disposal.

"Becoming the greenest technology company means partnering with communities, stakeholders and customers to help protect the Earth. All revenue generated from the Reconnect recycling program and computers resold through Computer Works support Goodwill's mission of finding meaningful employment for disabled and disadvantaged community members.
