Now for the Houston Easter egg hunt report. A Houston based energy company hosted an Easter egg hunt for the children at the Mission's Woman and Family Emergency shelter. Forty children from ages four to twelve participated in Texon's Egg Hunt and lunch afterwards. The company's president says the kid's deserve a little seasonal fun.

Meanwhile, hundreds of kids in Fort Bend County went hunting for eggs Saturday. Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital helped host the event. It was part of a celebration of a new pediatric unit at the hospital. Even the Rockets mascot Clutch got into the action. He was out there wearing bunny ears, of course.

Not to be outdone, one hunt had a helicopter drop. The chopper dumped many eggs on the football field of Sartartia Middle School. Many children rushed into collect as many eggs as possible. A church, a grocery store and a fast-food restaurant teamed up to organize and sponsor the egg drop.
