Investigators say a passerby found the victim face down in a ditch along TC Jester near Mansfield Saturday morning. He called 911. After paramedics cleaned the man up, they realized he had a gunshot wound to his chest.
Police say they have little to go one. Officers tried to talk to the victim, a Hispanic man in his late 20, but it didn't help.
"They tried to talk to him in Spanish, but he was unable to talk due to his condition," said Sgt. David Ferguson of the Houston Police Department.
