"I have been here just about four years now and apparently, if you've been in Houston for more than two years, you are native-born Houstonian," he said with a laugh.
Also at Thursday's luncheon, the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce unveiled its new strategic plan for Houston's Hispanic community. The plan includes emphasizing the role of the chamber, and becoming an engine for growth and development in the Hispanic community.
