Long time lawman being remembered

A long time Texas lawman is being remembered for his commitment to Harris County.Precinct seven constable A.B Chambers died yesterday afternoon due to complications from a stroke. He had served in precinct seven since 1973 as the county's first and only black constable.

Chambers spent 32 years of his life in law enforcement. He leaves behind a wife, three sons, and a daughter.
