Galveston aims to set world-record

GALVESTON, TX The City of Galveston invites one and all to join in to try to set a Guinness World Record. All it takes is a mighty shout in response to a scene from the new movie, 'Horton Hears a Who!'

This weekend children and parents will shout: "We are here! We are here! We are here!" as loudly as possible. A scream-meter will officially record the shout.

Galveston is competing against 30 other cities across the nation. The winning city will receive a special screening of the movie Dr. Suess' Horton Hears a Who! and have the opportunity of being listed as the holder of a Guinness World Record.

Prizes will be awarded to the schools and groups with the largest number of participants. Individual prizes will be given to "The Best Dr. Seuss Costume" in each age group. Refreshments will be on hand.
