Burglars steal victim's pet poodle

SUGAR LAND, TX On February 15, burglars struck a home in the Village of Oak Lakes subdivision in Sugar Land. According to authorities, the suspects got in through a window. They ransacked the victim's bedroom and stole a laptop computer, jewelry, several credit cards and the victim's dog.

The dog is a Toy Poodle, described as a two-year-old white female named "Leeloo", weighing 11 pounds. She has an identification microchip implanted in the back of her neck.

The suspect vehicle is described to be a burgundy in color 1993 – 1995 Rodeo, Pathfinder, or Isuzu with a spare tire on the back. The suspects used the victim's credit cards at a Dollar General store.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477). Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn up to $5,000 in a cash reward. All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
