Rockets acquire Green from Wolves

HOUSTON Green, the 2007 champion of the NBA Slam-Dunk contest, finished the runner-up in this year's event to Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. While one of Green's dunks featured a between-the-legs jam in his stocking feet, Howard's showmanship -- which included wearing a Superman cape and tank top before a resounding dunk attempt -- stole the show in New Orleans.

A Houston native, Green was the Boston Celtics' first-round pick (18th overall) in 2005.

In 29 games with the Timberwolves, Green averaged 5.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 12.2 minutes this season. The small forward has averaged 8.1 points and 2.2 rebounds for his career.

Snyder averaged 3.8 points in nine games this season with the Rockets. He was drafted 16th overall by the Utah Jazz in 2004.
