There's someone new in charge at the Harris County district attorney's office. For now, first assistant DA Bert Graham will watch over the office of roughly 250 assistant district attorneys and 310 support staff.

Embattled DA Chuck Rosenthal quit on Friday, saying prescription drugs impaired his judgment. Rosenthal's resignation came in the wake of an email scandal and accusations of contempt of court.

Eventually, Governor Rick Perry is expected to appoint an interim DA who will fill the post through the end of the year when a new DA is elected..
