Hotel fire sends patrons out in cold

Residents of a hotel on the northwest side were evacuated from a Holiday Inn overnight when smoke began filling one of the rooms. It appears an AC unit shorted out, catching a wall on fire. A resident woke up to find the room full of smoke, and they made it out safely.

The fire could have been much worse if it wasn't caught early, No one was hurt.
