Democrats to hold debate in Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) Senator Hillary Clinton has agreed to take part. Senator Barack Obama has not responded to the debate invitation just yet. The Greater Houston Partnership is spearheading this debate on energy security, a topic very close to the Houston community.

"It's time to have a thoughtful discussion 10, 15, 20 years into the future on what shall our nation's policies be on national energy security. And what would the administration do of these various campaigns if we the voters, would have hired them -- so that we could have a thoughtful, thorough national security policy," said President of the Greater Houston Partnership, Jeff Moseley.

The debate will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
