Last week, Rosenthal was questioned in a contempt hearing about deleting hundreds of emails that were under subpoena. The judge called for a recess to give both sides time to prepare legal briefs.
The hearing has not been rescheduled.
Assistant DA Siegler wants Rosenthal to step down
HOUSTON
Rosenthal has been under fire after racist, sexist and sexually explicit emails were found in his government email account. Siegler, who is campaigning for the DA position, said Monday that Rosenthal had made a lot of serious mistakes, and said it's time for him to resign.
