Actor Priestly plans to race at Indy

INDIANAPOLIS The actor is looking forward to entering a car in this year's Indianapolis 500. Says Priestley: "Dude, this is going to be so fun." The Rubicon Race Team will be managed by the former general manager of Kelley Racing.

Jim Freudenberg is also a close friend of Priestley, who rose to fame as one of the hunks on "Beverly Hills 90210." Priestley began racing sports cars in 1991.

His career as a driver was sidetracked by a crash in Kentucky in August, 2002. He slammed into a wall at 180 miles per hour and broke his back and feet, among other injuries.
