Since then dozens of people have contacted Dolley to help -- including an electrician. Woody Trichell (truh-SHEL') volunteered to gather materials to replace the lines -- at no charge. He hopes to get the job done next weekend. Dolley is working to get the utility pole replaced. For now -- she's staying with neighbors. So far no arrests.
Who steals a power pole and lines?
LONGVIEW, TX Thieves stole her 17-foot-tall utility pole and power lines,
leaving her rural Longview-area home without electricity or heat.
Investigators want to know who cut down and swiped the items
from outside the home of Ann Dolley. Dolley arrived home
last Tuesday to discover the theft.
