Committed to a lifetime of service to others, Gayle worked at the March of Dimes for five years as the Director of WalkAmerica. Since the 1980s, Gayle has been active in numerous symphony events and activities. She is a life member and a past president of the Symphony League.
In 2003, Gayle became a charter member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. She is serving as the Auxiliary President Elect and will assume that office in the spring of 2008.
