An avid supporter of the arts, Eileen is a member of the executive board of directors for the Society of th Performing Arts. She is a founding board member on the soon to be constructed Houston Museum of African American Culture and member of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF's National Advisory Committee Board. Eileen is a co-chair for Discovery Green-Gala on the Green 2008, which marks the opening of Discovery Park in January.

Eileen is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a bachelor of Science degree. She resides in Houston with her husband, Kase Lawal, and children.
