The family attorney said an anonymous Ohio donor is providing a private jet to carry the remains of the toddler back to that state. A memorial service is set for Wednesday morning in Mentor, Ohio. That is where her birth father and grandparents live.
Investigators say Riley was badly abused and died last July. Investigators say her mother, Kimberly Trenor, and her stepfather, Royce Clyde Zeigler, stuffed her body into a plastic storage box. The box was found in Galveston Bay back in October.
Both Zeigler and Trenor are charged with capital murder. They are due back in court in April, when the prosecution will discuss seeking the death penalty.
