Homeowner dies trying to protect family

HOUSTON, TX Guillermo Castellanos, another adult, and his 15-year-old son were at their home on Oleander Grove Way near Auburn Knoll in northeast Houston last night, when two thieves broke through the front door.

Castellanos sent his son upstairs to call police. When the robber tried to tie him up the father fought back. The robbers shot Castellanos and fled the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died.
