Titans stiffed in AFC playoff

SAN DIEGO, CA The Chargers had dropped four straight playoff games since winning the 1994 AFC championship. San Diego also trailed the Titans 6-0 at halftime before earning the right to take on the Colts at Indianapolis next weekend.

The Chargers finally took the lead when Vincent Jackson grabbed a 25-yard touchdown pass from Philip Rivers late in the third quarter. Jackson had five receptions for 114 yards, and Rivers was 19-of-30 for 292 yards and one interception.

LaDainian Tomlinson was held to 42 yards but was able to celebrate when his one-yard touchdown run put San Diego ahead 17-6 midway through the final quarter.

The Chargers were able to keep the Titans out of the end zone and hold Vince Young to 150 total yards. Young was 16-of-29 for 138 yards and one interception.
