Dick Clark hasn't lost his sense of humor

NEW YEAR Clark's speech is still noticeably slurred from his 2004 stroke. But he counted down the final seconds to midnight, as the glittering ball slid down the pole above the heart of Manhattan.

Clark hasn't lost his since of humor. After the ball dropped in Times Square, Clark welcomed co-host Ryan Seacrest into the broadcast booth. Clark cracked up as he read a script calling Seacrest "the boy wonder" and said he couldn't say that. Clark later kidded Seacrest about the mild weather in New York. Clark says he suffered in the snow and the sleet, so Seacrest should, too.

Clark says from the bottom of his heart, he wishes everyone a happy and healthy new year.
