HOUSTON, Texas - With high pressure building in, we'll only have a 20% rain chance on Memorial Day. Temps will make it to the middle 90s with heat index values around 100. We'll spend most of the rest of the week in the upper 90s, challenging record high temps.
Alberto continues moving thru the eastern Gulf and is now expected to make landfall Monday in the Florida panhandle. It'll be a major rainmaker for the central Gulf coast and Florida where up to 12" of rain could fall. We won't see any of that around here. Just more hot, humid weather.
