THE WOODLANDS, Texas - It has been five months now since a 16-year-old girl found the courage to meet with law enforcement and come up with this sketch.

She says this is the man who sexually assaulted her on a jogging trail in The Woodlands back in March.

Investigators need your help identifying this man. They say he stalked the girl, attacking her from behind and dragging her into the trees. That is where investigators said she was sexually assaulted.

"It's a good, clear sketch," said Montgomery Co. Pct. 3 Chief Constable Matt Rodrigue. "We're hoping somebody out there sees this and can put us in the right direction."

The teen was alone, headed home from a function at The Woodlands High School when she claims she was attacked.

She described her attacker as standing about 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 11, with dark colored hair and thicker eyebrows. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

But it was something you could smell, not see, that the girl said really stood out.

"One thing that's important to us, the public may want to know, he smelled heavily of cigarette smoke," Rodrigue said.

Women in the area are unnerved by the attack but thankful for the information. They hope someone can help catch this criminal.

Anyone with information about this case or anyone with information regarding the composite sketch of this suspect is asked to contact Detective Adam Acosta at 281-364-4211 or 936-538-3414.
