Surveillance video shows two men walk up to the Little Bitty Burger Barn in northwest Houston before shooting an employee and stealing a TV

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An restaurant worker is recovering at the hospital after he was shot by a pair of armed robbers.

Around 12:30am, the employee from 'Little Bitty Buger Barn' in the 5500 block of Pinemont was closing up and about to leave work. That's when police say two men in a stolen white Chevy truck pulled into the parking lot. The crooks then parked at a car wash business that shares the parking lot.

Surveillance video from a neighboring business shows the men get out of the truck, walk to one business before coming back and rob the restaurant.

Police say the two suspects forced the victim to walk back into the restaurant, and then they shot him in the leg.

One of the suspects is then seen walking out of the restaurant carrying a television. Both men fled the scene in a different vehicle than the one they arrived in. That second vehicle is described as a light-colored compact car.

Anyone with information is asked to call HPD at 713-222-8477 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition.
