Man killed in drive-by shooting at Third Ward gas station

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is dead after a drive-by shooting in the Third Ward.

Police say they were called around 3pm Friday for a drive-by at a gas station at Almeda and Cleburne. Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he later died.

Authorities say the shooters took off in a gray Nissan Altima.

Police tell us they are checking surveillance video from the gas station to help determine what happened.
