CINCINNATI, Ohio -- A man is accused of killing his step-grandson by pinning him down.

Prosecutors say Donald Martin, who weighs 400 pounds, tried to restrain 11-year-old Dylan Davis.

The boy's family says he has autism and was having a tantrum on Friday. The grandmother called 911, saying he was barely breathing.

"Some type of altercation between the 11-year-old and his grandmother, and the step-grandfather stepped in and restrained the juvenile," said Brown County Sheriff Gordon Ellis.

Investigators say it appears the 11-year-old died from asphyxiation. Martin is charged with reckless homicide
