HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Family members believe they discovered the bodies of two missing relatives after floodwaters receded in northeast Houston late Thursday.

Houston police's dive team has been called to the scene to recover the bodies from the banks of Greens Bayou.

The two men were among a group of seven aboard a rescue boat on Monday. The boat was navigating the waters of a swollen Greens Bayou on the way to rescue family members before the men had to jump into the water to avoid being electrocuted.

Of the seven men, three survived. Family members have been searching the banks of the bayou for the men for days.

"It would have been a miracle had they still been alive. These waters were rapids. Even trained people were scared to go in them because of all the things that were floating around -- animals, logs, jet skis," said family member Cesar Garica.

Not including the two bodies discovered Thursday, there have been 25 confirmed Harvey-related deaths and an additional seven still under investigation.
