Stolen class ring returned
Two Aggies who graduated 40 years apart were united by an unexpected discovery when a class ring missing for 25 years reappeared.

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Two Aggies who graduated 40 years apart were united by an unexpected discovery when a class ring missing for 25 years reappeared.

James Coker says a family member found the ring on the side of the road and gave it to him. The last name engraved in the ring was scratched out, so Coker posted a picture of the ring on Facebook to find the owner.

It only took 24 hours for Coker to find Ken Verrett. They met in Spring to reunite Verrett with his long lost ring, which he says was stolen from his home.

"We both wish the ring could actually talk and we could hear what's gone on for the last 25 years. That would be neat," said Verrett.
