Indiana restaurant unveils gourmet menu for dogs
An Indiana restaurant has unveiled a gourmet menu geared specifically toward its canine clientele.

GREENWOOD, IN (KTRK) -- The newest menu items at Revery sound good enough to eat -- but they're not meant for two-legged customers.

Last week, the Indiana eatery unveiled a new menu crafted for dogs seated with their owners on the restaurant's outdoor patio.

Every dog gets popcorn on the house, and entrees run between $3 and $4 each. They include many of the same ingredients that the restaurant uses on its regular menu.

"Real chicken, real vegetables, wholesome, human-quality food," explains dog owner Krista Taggart, whose dog Leia chowed down on a chicken and sweet potato dish.

"My daughter Rory loves taking Leia everywhere possible, so the idea that we could take her with us to eat and she could have her own menu, is a fun special treat for all of us," Taggart adds.

"The owner, Mark Hendricks, is a big dog lover himself, has a dog. He did a little bit of research and decided that Greenwood needed a dog menu for our patio," Revery General Manager Eric Kett told WISH-TV.
