Take down! We haven't seen this Calf Scramble technique yet

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Take down! One Texas teen took a bold approach to catching a calf during Tuesday night's Calf Scramble at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Caden Horton from Plainview FFA dove and landed on top of a heifer, taking it down to the ground. He eventually put the harness on it and brought it back to the center of the stadium.

"It's a huge blessing honestly," he told rodeo officials after his catch. "Thirty people, 15 calves - I was lucky enough to get one."

Horton said he plans to get a heifer.
