HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A little boy battling a big disease was honored Monday by the men and women who've been the subject of his fascination.
Twenty-month-old Creighton Eilliott Heslop was diagnosed with cancer six months ago, and doctors say his treatment thus far has been unsuccessful.
Creighton has always had a fasication with police officers, so during Monday night's Tomball City Council meeting, officials gave him a custom-made Tomball Police Department uniform, and the City Mayor Gretchen Fagan declared October 19 as the "Creighton Celebration of Life Day."
Creighton also received a badge and Police Chief Billy Tidwell swore him in as an honorary member of the Tomball Police Department.
